Two jewels in the Mediterranean Sea full of rich history and natural beauty. Join us on the relaxing tour of Malta and eastern Sicily. Our tour begins in Malta and ends in Catania in Sicily. The first two nights will be spent on the island of Malta where we will visit the Barraka gardens with their magnificent view over the Great Harbour. In St. John's Cathedral, rich in tresures and dating back to the Knights of Malta, we can also admire one of Caravaggio's masterpieces. Relax and enjoy some leisure time on the island basking in the sun or touring on your own. At the end of the third day we fly from Malta to Catania, just a short distance away.
For the next 5 nights Taormina will be your home as we explore the surrounding areas dominated by one of Italy's active volcanos: Mount Etna. Walk through the old town of Taormina, visit the Teatro Greco (Greek Theater) and enjoy unforgetable views of Mt. Etna and the seaside. In the days to follow, leisure time is alternated with visits to Catania and Syracusa, as well as to a charming winery on the slopes of Mt. Etna.
